Code Of Conduct Expectations For Students
1. Students are required to attend school each day, to participate in all their scheduled classes as well as all activities associated with the Catholic nature of the school and school assemblies.
2. Students are expected to be punctual, have the proper materials, and have assigned work completed for each class.
3. Students are expected to be courteous and co-operative at all times and to exhibit respect for the rights and property of others.
4. It is the responsibility of the student to help create and participate in a positive learning environment in the classroom.
5. Students are required to wear the appropriate school uniform throughout the school day.
In keeping with these expectations and in keeping with the policies of the Toronto Catholic District School Board the following shall apply:
- Intimidation physical, verbal or written; sexual or psychological abuse or bullying will not be tolerated.
- Discrimination on the basis of race, culture, religion (this commitment is limited to the extent necessary for the preservation and promotion of Roman Catholic Values and tenets and the denominational nature of its schools), gender, language, disability, sexual orientation or any other attribute is unacceptable.
- Deliberate degradation of any individual is unacceptable.
- Deliberate vandalism of school property and damage to personal property in the school environment is unacceptable.
