Attendance Policy – Lates
1. A student who arrives late to school must report to the Attendance Office to sign in. If the Attendance Secretary is presented with a note from the parent, the student will be assigned a justified late and given a late slip.
The student will present this pass to the teacher of the class.
2. A student who arrives late to school without a note from the parent/guardian will be assigned an unjustified late and given a late slip.
The student will present this pass to the teacher of the class.
3. The consequences for unjustified lates to school are
- a call home from the homeroom teacher after 3 lates
- meeting with a vice-principal
- possible suspension after 5-6 lates.
