Bishop Allen Academy: TCDSB Regional Centre for  Congregated Advanced Placement Program (AP)

• All students in the TCDSB may apply to the Congregated Pre-AP/AP Program
• Bishop Allen Academy offers a full complement of Pre-AP and AP courses beginning in grade 9
• Students study the Ontario curriculum as well as the pre-AP/AP curriculum
• AP classes prepare the students to write the international first-year university exams
• AP courses of study will be offered in university-bound Mathematics, Science, English, French and Social Sciences courses
• Students may also study independently
• Exams are written in May at Bishop Allen and marked externally
• Students may write several exams to receive AP Scholar, AP National Scholar, or AP International Diploma designation
• Over 80% of students who have written AP exams at Bishop Allen have been successful
