Academics – Technological Studies

Technological Studies is comprised of three disciplines, Design, Computer Studies, and Manufacturing. In Technological Design students will learn to execute technical drawings using AutoCAD. They will develop their critical thinking skills through projects that emphasize the use of industry standards in design, material analysis and marketing solutions. In Computer Studies students are challenged in the area of hardware design and computer programming. A variety of programming languages are used through the curriculum to enhance problem solving abilities. In Manufacturing Technology students study the various components used in the development of products, and the industrial tools and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
