Academics – Religion
The religious education program at Bishop Allen Academy is designed to give a broad overview of important elements in the Catholic faith. Topics covered over four years, from scripture to sacraments to ethics to world religions, ground students in a Catholic world view. Catholic education is not confined to intellectual formation alone but to a student's emotional and spiritual growth as well. Students participate in a retreat experiences in each of the four years of religious study. In the past students have assisted at the Daily Bread Food Bank, they have shared the experiences of the homeless of Toronto, and they have visited the houses of worship of a variety of different religious traditions.
